  • Or evacuation at the time would be dangerous

To ensure the inside of facilities do NOT become contaminated, occupants will:
  • Close all windows and doors
  • Turn off ventilation systems at the time of the suspected attack

Collective Protection Systems (COLPRO)

COLPRO Definition
COLPRO can be a fixed-site or expeditionary location to provide protection from CBRN agents by utilizing an overpressure system to keep threat agents outside of certain facilities.

Ultimately allowing the occupants to:
  • Work inside the facility
  • Rest inside the facility

WITHOUT wearing protective gear.

COLPRO Contamination Control
Many of these facilities will have integrated contaminated control areas where contaminated personnel are able to enter the facility once decontaminated and outer garments are removed.
